Giuseppe Macino, the chairman of FORGE Executive Board, has coauthored this Cell journal article on "Open-ST: High-resolution spatial transcriptomics in 3D", which presents an end-to-end, open-source, cost efficient resource for spatial transcriptomics studies, and shows its power in identifying mouse brain cell types and capturing diversity in tumor and neighboring cell populations.
